Data permissions refine accessibility of the data to specific users. They consist of a set of filters, which are applied to the data. The filters describe what a user will be able to see, they do not filter out.

User is notified about active Data permissions after opening the Filters. The Data permissions can't be turned off or changed by the user.

The blue counter on Filter icon refers to number of currently active filters.

Data permissions can define the access to data related to specific objects, transactions, etc. For example, Data permissions can reflect the hierarchy of managers in branch network, limit data to only a certain year or not to allow access to transactions over 1 million.
