The default filters in each view were selected by its author as relevant to its theme.

Each project is built upon a specific data model. And each view within the project is built using only specific parts of that data model. Therefore not all filters are relevant to each view. For example, filtering the area of competitor's store would not make much sense in view dedicated to demography.

However, you can fully customise your Filter panel by adding new filters or removing the current ones. Refer to this article for complete information on filters.
